Pro-Kremlin Russian Military Blogger Arrested in Montenegro

Mikhail Zvinchuk, a pro-Kremlin Russian military blogger with ties to Russia’s intelligence services, was arrested in Montenegro on suspicion of spreading Russian influence, following warnings of attempts to destabilize the country.

Why it matters. Montenegro’s actions against a Russian influencer could strain relations with Russia and impact the country’s stance on Russian influence in the Balkans.
