Swiss company Meteomatics unveils Strato drone, first to reach stratosphere for weather data

Meteomatics has developed Strato, a multicopter drone that reached 34,245 feet, collecting atmospheric data from near the ground to the stratosphere. Unlike weather balloons, Strato can fly to selected locations and return, providing real-time data.
