US Transportation Department Rolls Back Fuel Efficiency Standards

The US Transportation Department finalized plans to roll back fuel efficiency standards for automobiles, reducing the required average fuel efficiency from 50.4 miles per gallon to 34.9 miles per gallon starting in 2031.
