ContourGlobal Commences Construction on Large-Scale Solar and Battery Storage Facility in Arizona

ContourGlobal has started building Project Sterling, a 509MW solar PV and 360MW/1.4GWh battery storage facility in Arizona, with an estimated completion in 2028.

Why it matters. The project will significantly increase renewable energy capacity in the US and support local employment and infrastructure development.
