Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria signs renewable PPA with Enery for solar and storage power

Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria has signed a long-term physical power purchase agreement with Enery to procure renewable electricity from the Knizhovnik hybrid power plant, which combines a 122MWp solar PV facility and two battery storage systems (70MWh and 130MWh) near Haskovo, Bulgaria. The agreement supports Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria’s net-zero emissions target by 2040.

Why it matters. This deal advances corporate decarbonisation in Bulgaria by linking a major industrial consumer to local renewable generation with storage, supporting grid integration and emissions reduction in the value chain.
