Telstra Activates Perth-Sydney Route of Aura Network

Telstra has activated the Perth-Sydney route of its Aura Network, bringing the 10-route inter-city fiber project closer to completion by fiscal year 2028. The network is designed to support the growing demand for bandwidth amid the AI boom.

Why it matters. The activation strengthens the link between Western Australia and the eastern states, improving international data flow and supporting the digital economy in Western Australia.
