Crew-12 astronauts return after 237-day mission

NASA and SpaceX Crew-12 astronauts completed a 237-day mission aboard the International Space Station and returned to Earth via a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean.

Why it matters. The return of the Crew-12 astronauts marks the end of a long-duration mission and sets the stage for the next crew, Crew-13, to continue research and prepare for future lunar and Mars missions.
