Global Ship Lease Expands Newbuild Orderbook to 17 Ships

Global Ship Lease (GSL) has exercised options for two new midsize ultra-high-reefer containerships, bringing its orderbook to 17 ships, with deliveries scheduled for Q4 2029.

Why it matters. The expansion of GSL’s newbuild orderbook will help the company replace older tonnage and extend its earnings runway.
