Amazon EC2 introduces shared tags for Amazon Machine Images

Amazon EC2 has introduced a new feature allowing AMI owners to share selected tags with accounts an AMI is shared with, reducing the need for custom tag replication workflows.

Why it matters. AWS users can now more easily manage and share metadata across accounts without additional costs or operational burdens.
