Seatrium Secures First FSRU Conversion Contract for Excelerate

Seatrium, a Singapore shipyard, has won an EPCIC contract from Excelerate Energy to convert an LNG carrier into an FSRU, with an option for a second unit. The project marks Seatrium’s first FSRU conversion for Excelerate.

Why it matters. Seatrium and Excelerate are expanding their floating LNG infrastructure, responding to growing demand for flexible import and regasification capacity.
