CMA considers Brink's proposed remedies for NCR ATM deal

The UK Competition and Markets Authority is reviewing legally binding undertakings offered by Brink's, including the sale of its NoteMachine and UK TestLink businesses, to address competition concerns over its acquisition of NCR Atleos. The CMA has provisionally found the remedies could address its concerns and will seek third-party feedback before deciding whether to conditionally clear the merger.

Why it matters. The combined Brink's-NCR entity would operate over 50% of UK ATMs, and unresolved competition concerns could lead to higher fees for businesses and consumers relying on cash machines.
