Oracle to offer Google TPUs on OCI, first hyperscaler outside Google

Oracle and Google announced that Google's Tensor Processing Units will be available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, making OCI the first hyperscale cloud platform outside Google to offer TPUs. Customers will be able to choose TPUs within OCI's AI compute portfolio starting in calendar year 2027.

Why it matters. Oracle customers gain access to Google's purpose-built AI accelerators, expanding infrastructure choices for demanding training and inference workloads beyond NVIDIA GPUs.
