Golar LNG agrees to acquire vessel for fourth FLNG conversion

Golar LNG agreed to acquire the 2013-built LNG carrier Grace Dahlia from NYK Line for conversion into its fourth floating LNG production unit. The vessel has 177,427 cubic meters of storage, and Golar expects the converted unit to be redelivered in 2029.

Why it matters. The acquisition advances Golar’s planned FLNG capacity and could expand options for LNG producers seeking floating export facilities.
